Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson hails from the United States and is a performer, actor, writer/singer/director. Her most well-known role was Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she produced as well as directed and appeared in her own films Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Benson also appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle is her elder sister and an artist. The father of Benson was Jewish while her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to a Reform congregation in Alabama. Benson started appearing in different movies, such as The Killing Jar. Benson has also been featured in TV shows such as Morganville The Series. On camera, she used her talents as a writer to create The Ghosts of Albion and direct projects such as 2010's Drones. Buffy says that around 1800 Slayers exist across the globe and that 500 are part of the Scooby Gang. Slayers are now able to be revived as they reach their age.
