Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967, in Atlanta. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. She inherited her father's interest in the theatre at a young stage. As a student in Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both in and outside of the campus. After he enlisted in the Air Force, he appeared alongside Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. In 1955, the couple got married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in 1957. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the couple relocated to Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a local Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In the following year, they established The Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for a period of six years. They had two more children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known by the name Julie).
