Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts living in Atlanta. Her father was a theatre enthusiast since a young age. When he was in school at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. After joining the airforce, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in 1957. Walter as well as his spouse were discharged from the military in 1957 after which they began enrolment with Walter in Tulane University. In 1960 the family moved into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local Saturday morning children's show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they self-funded. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which lasted six years. Lelisa Billingsley often referred to as Lisa, was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
