Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on the 13th of February, 1979) is an American model, actress and fashion designer. model. After beginning her career as a model, she moved into acting, after starring as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. She debuted in the film industry in the dramatic film Nowhere. Through American Beauty and American Pie the actress gained more recognition for her roles. In the following years, she appeared on screen in Loser (2000) together with American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and later played the main character in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun was a 2002 independent drama and Trauma, a (2004) thriller were also included in her resume. In addition, she was a part of the HBO television drama Six Feet Under. The drama aired on the air in 2004. In 2008 she was cast in a series of movies such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari has been a model as a model for Lancome Paris Adaptive and she has also appeared on a number of fashion blogs and magazines, including Vogue. She has long been a supporter and activist for the esteemed African relief group, the African Medical and Research Foundation.
