Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco and moved to California at age five. Her family lived mainly on the coast of Orange County. She graduated in the University of California, San Diego in 2015. This was her year that she earned her first big break as an actor. After appearing in a couple of episodes on NCIS as well as Leverage Pernas was offered the role in the role of Marisa Sierras in The Young and the Restless. After leaving the soap opera in 2016, the actress landed a recurring role in Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The model, fluent in four languages, has since appeared on The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also was on the show Secret Society of Second Born Royals. On Blood & Treasure, from to 2020, she played Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been seeing Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The relationship began following that the This Is Us star split from Chrishell Stause's wife in November 2019. News broke in May of 2021 about how Pernas and Hartley have recently got married at a secret wedding.
