In the following three years, her popularity was growing in three different albums -in the form of Red (2012), Reputation (2014) and 1989 (2014-2015) (2014-2015) -- as she stepped into the world of pop, where her abilities were well-established. When she scaled her music back to the more stripped-down versions in 2020, such as folklore and Evermore but she was still a king in the world of pop. It was a position that was maintained by the release of remastered versions of songs from her prior catalogue as well as Midnights, her top-charting synth-heavy scheduled for 2022.
