Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor was born on April 16, 1996, in Miami Florida. It is daughter to Dennis Alan Taylor, a former executive in the banking industry and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist who is half-Spanish, and the other half is English. Her father, an native Argentine of Scottish and English origin is her mother. Her mother is Spanish as well as English heritage. She was the youngest of a clan with six kids. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family she grew up with was in Buenos Aires from the time she was 6 years old until the time they moved to Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatic and that she was unable to learn English to stay out of the risk of returning to Argentina.
